Vanatsky's Visit Blackwell

The Vanatsky's came from Ohio to visit Oklahoma. We had such a good time catching up. We had a picnic out at "Green Acres" (Blake's grandparents land), went to the park, and ate yummy ribs at our favorite place in Ponca City! Can't wait to see them again in December!

Kyler at the park...she loves to put the leaves in her mouth.

Jack and Jake were so hot out at Green Acres that they decided to take their clothes off. One of the perks of being out in the country!

Look how beautiful it is out there!

Aunt Sandy and Kyler

Katie is so good with Kyler.

Halloween

Kyler's 1st Halloween. I'll post more pictures when I get them. My mother-in-law took them with her camera. She's a cutie!

My niece Adyson was Snow White. She wouldn't hold the apple.

This is Kali. She's my in-law's dog. Kali is so sweet and cuddly.

October Fun

She is out cold. I always think it's funny when she plays herself to sleep! Fall is my favorite time of year. There's so much to do and everything's so beautiful with the color changes. We've had a lot of fun this month with pumpkin patches, reunions, OSU games, and Halloween. Kyler has also become more independent. She's quite the explorer. I never know where I'm going to find her next!

Kyler's checking out my carved pumpkin. She was very interested in the texture.
Blake and his intense carving skills! His looked really good. I'm sad I didn't take pictures of them finished.
Kyler got ahold of the cheerio box. That child stuffs those in her mouth like there's no tomorrow!

She loves to get in and out of baskets and drawers.

Like I said, she loves to get in and out of stuff.

My little pumpkin Kyler and her little pumpkin.

My little explorer.

She loves our boxer Booker. She's always climbing on him and giving him hugs. He's so good with her. Our basset Bentley on the other hand, runs from her.

Once again, she's in the drawer.

Folks Family Reunion

My family had the 1st Annual Fulks Family Reunion Oct. 28th. To make it fun, all the kids came in their Halloween costumes. Each family was in charge of coming up with a station with a game or activity for the kids. It was kind of a mini carnival. We had Jupiter Jumps, blow up slides, a fire pit for smores, and even a photographer to take pictures throughout the day. It was so fun! Blake and I even had a wrestling match in the Jupiter Jump. Everyone loved it especially the kids! Looking forward to next year!

Carlton's Pumpkin Patch

Look at these pumpkins!! They are huge! While we were in Tulsa for a family reunion, my mom and I decided to take Kyler to another pumpkin patch called Carlton's Pumpkin Patch. They had tons of pumpkins and weird fall things like apple gourds. We went into the Hay House, rode the pony, and fed more animals. Kyler hugged another goat too! I really enjoy seeing her have a good time and getting excited about animals. Nothing makes me smile more than the smile on my little ones face! Priceless.

Heather's Baby Shower

My cousin Heather is having her second baby December 3rd. She's hoping to be induced late November. Terra hosted a shower for her at her house in Bixby. I haven't seen her family in so long so it was good to visit with them! Heather looks great! They are naming their little boy Trent Wesley Jenkins. Congrats Heather, Brent, and Mariah!

This is Terra's little boy Kylan. He's just about 5 months older than Kyler. He helped hand out cookies to everyone as they were leaving. He's such a cutie!

Chester's Party Barn

I loved going to the pumpkin patch growing up and I wanted to take Kyler to one. I found a patch out in Piedmont, OK called Chester's Party Barn. It was about a 25 minute drive but it was worth it! We had so much fun! It's a great place for all ages. They have tons of activities and games to play. The petting zoo was a hit. I haven't seen some of the animals up close in a really long time. We fed the goats, ducks, the camel, the donkey, and even got to pet the horse. Kyler even gave one of the goats a hug! The hay ride took us out to a field of corn where there was a maze to a huge slide. There were some interesting things to see on your way out there! We just had to take a picture with the Pig! We had a blast! After the maze, Kyler rode the little pony...she loved it! And before we went home we got to pick out a pumpkin to take with us. We're definitely going back next year!

Blake's HS Reunion

Every 5 year reunions are held the weekend of Blackwell High School Homecoming. This year was Blake's, his mom's and his older brother Brady's. We went to the Homecoming parade downtown to see all the floats. Kyler loved the marching band! This little town was packed!

Kyler and Papa waiting patiently for the parade to start! I'm just waiting for the candy!! Blake's class president asked Kyler and I to ride on the float with Blake but I didn't want to.

Blake's cousin Sara Beth was Football Royalty which is quite an honor!

This is Blake's class float. He's second from the end...doesn't he look like he's enjoying this!?

The girls from Blake's class were so nice. They really made me feel comfortable as if I had graduated with them. Blake and I both had a really good time!

September Fun

We've been very busy this month. We've gone to football games, the Kay County Fair in Blackwell, and the OKC State Fair. At the Kay County Fair Blake couldn't win any games. His brother Chad however, won and gave his little girl the prizes. If you don't know Blake, he's extremely competitive! So, when we went to the OKC Fair he raked it in!! We took this picture from our phone and sent it to Chad. Blake was very proud of his prizes! We got many stares and glares!

Our electricity went out all throughout the neighborhood on a hot afternoon. We went over to a neighborhood friends house to hang out. Abby, Charlie, and Adyson were so much fun for Kyler to play with!

Adyson came over to play one day in her princess dress. Kyler wasn't much for picture taking but Adyson didn't mind one bit! I'd say "Smile like a princess" and she'd tilt her head and smile from ear to ear!

I went to get my oil changed and they said it'd take an hour. Luckily they have a really nice waiting room with a playroom for the kids. She loved the toys...she especially loved the cars.
